Carl Zeiss cine lenses?
Carl Zeiss introduces cine lenses for DSLRs
Carl Zeiss cine lenses?: Nikon SLR Lens Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review Will these lenses eventually be fitted to the EX3? Is this the glass quality boost we have been waiting for to jump above "EX" class if these lenses are paired with a Nanoflash recording system? |

35mm lenses have a crop factor of @ 3.5 on an EX, so your widest angle with a 15.5mm lens is @ 22 degrees. Native EX lens gives @ 62. It only has a 3-1 zoom too. Not highly useful, but probably looking nice and crisp. You still also lose powerzoom, stabilization, auto iris and focus.
There are dozens of Fujinon and Canon lenses that fit natively, or with a B4 adapter that will give just as good an image, let you go far wider, and powerzoom in much further than the LWZ.2 will. Some even have stabilization, focus and iris options. Nice cheap lens for 35mm cinema though.
