$$$ High Rollers: hold onto your SxS cards
For you high rollers out there, don't jump on the bandwagon and start trading in your SxS cards for SDHC alternatives. the soon to be released Arri Alexa will have 2 SxS slots. so, start saving your pennies because those expensive SxS cards might just have a viable use after all.

And you think the SDHCs won't work on the Alexa?

Actually, since that thing is going to write ProRes, the SDHC cards won't be fast enough. Even so, I think Arri would be smart to allow ARRIRAW to be written to the cards. That's a pretty fair deal. I'd hate to have to lug around a Codex or whatever.
