Manfrotto 521EX or Libec zc-9ex? at DVinfo.net

Hello,
i need a remote zoom controller for my ex1r.
I mostly need it to have remote rec because i am using a glidecam x10 with hd4000 camera stabilizer.
What is your opinion about these controllers?
Also, do you know if all the cables from these controllers have the same gauge? (i am asking this because i dont want to be very heavy cabling because it will be enlacement at the Glidecam.
