Sorry. This is the first day in 8 weeks I haven't had to take anything, even Ibuprophen or Tylenol, for the pain from my broken ribs, and I'm feeling a little frisky. |

What's the battery life like?
Bet you can only get things like this at B&H (if they're taking orders, that is). |

It does. I gaffer tape a a 12"X12" piece of white plastic over it for diffusion... and, of course, you can paint the plastic blue if you want 56K.

Best of all, with the optional NASATrackerXL module, you can also record images beamed back from the Mars Rover.

reminds me of a flash a local still photographer was using in a press conference in Kenya. The first shot he took singed my hair. He was reloading when I kindly mentioned to him that if he did it again I would be forced to swing my large sony 300a round and decapitate him.

I wonder if everyone here hasn't started out using equipment like this at one time or another. I started out using a couple of halogen work lamps on tripods where I used electrical conduit to extend the tripods to usable TV lighting height. Hey at $10 each for the lamps (including bulbs!) and another $5 for the conduit pieces, it was such a deal!
