Hi Olof, Ive got the TLS plate attached to my EX3.
Creative Video TLS VCT14-Adapter - Allows use of Sony VCT-14 / U14 quick release tripod plate All I would need is a shoulder brace and it has to hold the IDX/DSM batteries and the radio mic. The weight has to be at the back of the camera, but not sticking out to far, don't want it to hit someone standing close :) Is this possible? |

Anthony,
I to use the the VCT-14 system on all my cameras. I think it is the best. I don't have the TLS plate here, but it should bolt onto my EX3 Stronger plate with no problem, there are lots of 1/4" and 3/8" tapped holes in my plate. I use a few different VCT-14 wedges, I actually make some myself. Here are some photos of the bottom of the plate, and a shot of the setup with Foamy and one of a preproduction plate (all shipping products are anodized black) with IDX V-mount battery plate and battery installed. I now stock IDX V-mount and AB Gold Mount plates and I will install on the brace including a power cable to the EX camera, leaving the D-tap open.
