EX1 & Import to Macbook Pro Question
Hi,
I had an opportunity to work with the Sony EX1 today. BUt something interesting happened and I cannot understand why. Maybe someone on this forum can explain. After the shoot we went to import the footage into the macbook pro 17" 2009. We placed the card into the computer and it would not register as an external drive. Nothing happened... why? We took out and put it back in and it would not register. Any reason why this would happen? Its terrible because its steering me away from buy the camera for that reason. I need to offload my footage out in the field. Doing it via USB is going to take for ever. Thanks, Tom |

Did you download and install the drivers? You're not going to get very far without that basic step.
