Hoodman adapter design has changed
Just as an FYI, we recently took delivery of a new Hoodman SxS adapter and we noticed that the design had changed slightly. The flange where the SDHC card is inserted is different and the card inserts opposite of the older adapters (SDHC label to the inside instead of to the outside).
After formatting it and attempting to shoot some footage on it we got the dreaded "Recover Media" message. And this occurred with all of our SDHC cards (including a Hoodman RAW 16GB card). All of the cards worked fine in the old adapter though... So back to B&H it went. Just a heads up that the design has changed and there "may" be an issue. note: NFG stood for "Not Functioning Good" :)

I had this problem with a Hoodman SDHC card purchased recently with a green stripe Transcend 16GB that worked perfectly in the MxR SDHC adapter. I just went back to use the 1st gen MxR which has Media Restore error issues with Sandisk Extreme III 30 MB/sec 16GB.
