There will be an SDHC adaptor from Sony as well. I'm under the impression it's be available sometime in March.

Craig, an sdhc version as well ? I thought the sony adaptor was only for the sony memory stick. So there's 2 sony adaptors coming ?
Where did you hear about the sdhc version ? Any links ? Paul.

Well i just googled for the sony sdhc adaptor and the sony page was one of many which came up, so i went to that page which previously definitely showed the adaptor and stated that it had to use sony memory sticks, however the picture now shows an adaptor with sdhc written on it, and says sony recommend class 10 sdhc cards.
I thought the sony adaptor was due for release in January, maybe that was delayed because of a rethink by sony. Sony : MEAD-SD01 (MEADSD01) : Product Overview : United Kingdom Paul.

Sony finally decided to follow a standard. SDHC. Although they recommend not to use for overcranking, I'm hearing that MxM (MxR?) with the new EX1r and ATP or Sandisk Class 10 can overcrank at (or near) maximum frame rate.
Apparently there will be a new firmware update to support it . . . which makes me wonder about the changes since such adaptors already work. I don't doubt it'll be more expensive than the MxM/MxR adaptors though. |

I tested one the other day. It performed the same as any of the SDHC adapters.
