Tying 2 EX zooms together?
Maybe this subject has been discussed in earlier threads, but is there a cable/controller solution to syncing up two EX cameras to a single zoom controller?
I'm imagining a Y type of cable connection from a Libec or other controller running to each lens input tap, but is there any solution developed for this? |

If the cameras are adjacent and parallel, a big gear would keep the zooms in sync.
And another gear would keep the focus in sync, as well, if desired. |

It can be done at a price, with the Preston FIZ system. With the FX unit you can program channels to follow each other, and also record and play them back together or individually. System rents for $450/day at rental houses (FX unit additional and hard to find). If you aren't able to find anything else, let me know what your time frame is and if mine isn't being used, maybe we can work out a mutually agreeable deal.
