Audio-settings EX3
Hi: The audio-settings for recording-mode on the EX3 are factory-set to -41db. But it seems to me that sound from external mikes doen't come in well. Always sounds a bit "distorted".
What's a better autio-setting in order to get cleaner sound? Thanx! |

If you mic is "hot", try using a bit more aggressive trimming like -35dB (or even -30).

Make sure you haven't set the input selector to "Line". I had the same problem on a recent location shoot, someone had messed about with the switch - luckily I spotted it whilst monitoring the audio.
