I know there's been a time gap since the last post but I'm hoping someone may still be plugged into this thread.

I am running very similar gear (Sennheisers etc) and almost exactly the same settings on both the mics and the internal menu trim settings. Sometimes I find myself dealing with softly spoken individuals - and I'm still clutching at straws trying to squeeze more sound into the recording. These softly speaking folk force me to wind my external knob up to ten to get anything half decent - then if they laugh - wow i get an earfull...

I have gone through the manual a bunch of times and adjusted settings but in doing so I can never fnd the way to adjust the audio trim. It is set at -41 for each channel and I can't adjust it. The little rocker swith when pulled towards me to get the yellow hi-lighter to move down click once and I'm past the two trim settings. Click once the opposite way and it goes straight past again..?

How do I get to land on the trim settings so I can adjust them please?

I know it's going to be an embarrassingly simple answer and I've put off asking for too long...

Thanks

Works for me. Have you made sure the camera mic switches are set to External?

Hi Craig, thanks for the suggestion,

I've checked and double checked (in fact I never ever use the internal mic), I've also set the mic switches below the xlr sockets to mic.

I've been right through the menu - even tried the full access menu selection - it didn't appear to change anything. Don't know where else to look. Just can't land on the -41 per channel it jumps it going up or down..

Thanks
Dave
