how can I get ch. 1 audio to go to left headphone, ch. 2 to right?
Hi there,
Is there some setting I can change so that, when I'm wearing headphones, I hear audio from channel 1 in my left ear, and audio from channel 2 in my right? Thanks, Malcolm |

(Sorry - someone was going to say it sooner or later, I just got there first). More usefully: do you mean when you are monitoring audio from the camera when recording? I suspect you might need a specially wired adaptor cable for that. |

Hi Colin,
You know it had occurred to me to wear the headphones the other way around, but having the cord dangling on the right side just wouldn't work for me — I'm a creature of habit, I guess. And yes, I do mean when I'm recording in the field, and monitoring the audio. I mean, what difference does it make, right? But for me, there's just something more intuitive about channel 1 going to my left ear and channel 2 to the right. Don't know what that means about the wiring in my brain... maybe that's what needs to be recalibrated. Cheers, Malcolm |
