EX1 LCD gone bad? Nope-operator error
My EX1 is two years old. Just turned it on to prep for a shoot tomorrow and the LCD has gone dark. There is an image there but it is way way dark. The viewfinder is ok. I last used the camera about 4 days ago and there were no symptoms of this impending demise. Anyone out there with any info on this problem. I can't get a hold of Sony Service until tomorrow. Ugh.........
UPDATE: I'm the idiot. Stupid backlight switch that I have NEVER flipped got flipped somehow. Duh.

I accidentally brushed this at one point and also wondered why my viewfinder had gone dark.
It's easy to do. |

I always wandered, what's the use of turning the backlight off?

Either that, or it's a practical joke from Sony, just to freak their users out once in a while.
