Removing EX1 rear viewfinder?
Wondering if any one has successfully removed the EVF from the EX1. I am talking about the entire piece, not just the magnifying part that slides on and off. It has become very annoying to me now that I have the Hoodman viewfinder attachment on the LCD. It sticks right into my cheek when hand holding the camera. Not to mention I have probably only used it twice in two years always to be reminded how terrible the resolution is. Would love to just do away with the whole piece but I can't seem to figure out how to do it in a way that I could put it back on if I ever needed to (or not).

David, what I do when using the Hoodman is to aim the rear VF straight up. Maybe the shape my head is unique, but the bent VF actually touches my forward in just the right place to create an extra point of stability. Try it.

Hey Doug, that's a pretty good trick. Definitely helps with the stability. Maybe I'll keep it!
Still wondering if there's a way to remove it, though.
