HELP! Colour of Black with EX1

Hi. I seem to be getting odd results with some materials that are 'black' to the naked eye. Sometimes the black comes out as a red/brown. I've tried different WB settings and PPs etc.
Now is the the same issue that affects some DLRs (I work in the digital stills camera market) which is that some infra-red frequencies get by the IR/Low Pass Filter (notably the Leica M8)?
Is the EX1 knows for any IR colour issues?
Photo attached is a frame grab from Vegas vs my Olympus digital stills, both WB'd for the shot and unaltered.
All thoughts and comments gratefully received!
Regards, Oliver.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the EX. Do a forum search for IR contamination and you will find enough reading material for the whole of 2010.

In short the Tiffen IR filter will cure the problem.

This article will save you a lot of reading and bring you up to date. The Tiffen T1 IR filter is available (from Abel Tech, at any rate).
