mini-d monitor output
I'll be needing to feed 2 monitors. My near-camera monitor has SDI input and SDI loopthru.
But the second monitor only has RGB input. I'm thinking of using the mini-D output for the second monitor. How long a run can I have with an RCA RGB cable? Hoping to avoid buying converters for this; or a new monitor. |

I would use a really good 75Ω BNC cable with bnc-rca adapters. With that you could easily go up to 50' or more.
I do that all the time. With Canare V61s cable. I make the cable myself, if you need a quote on custom cable, contact me. I can supply all the adapters as well. B&H carries cable as well. olof@westsideav.com 603.383.9283 |
