Z1r "8" Zoom , ease on down the road
i noticed that the ex1r also has a dampener an EASE in and out settings for the zoom, so the human can make hard starts and stops of the zoom, but the computer inside puts the ease on it.

I use slow zooms for some things, and am wondering how much being stuck at 8 really matters How much time would it take (approx) for an End to end zoom (full wide to full tele) at 8 speed on other EX cameras?

OOPS i mean ex not z.
Oops, i mean the Excams not the other things.
the EX1R thing. Bump, how SLOW is an 8? on your EX-1 or EX-3 please?
