How to use the Z-Finder as a viewfinder for the Sony EX1

I did something similar for my EX3. The lens was intended as a 2X magnification booster for a dissecting microscope but it is now mounted on an electronics project box. The increased magnification makes focussing more definite. The eye-cup (not shown was shaped from a plastic flower pot. As the eye-piece is now 2" further forward some of the camera's weight can be taken on the shoulder when hand-holding.
