Hi Folks,

No, but it will do it via the monitor BNC output on the right side (of the EX3).

The EX1 or EX3 can only stream HDV out of the firewire port. The EX1r i.Link I/0 offers great new capabilities. Through the "Others" menu, the i.Link mode can be set to HDV, DVCam or turned off. Note that when streaming HDV or DVCam in/out of the firewire connector, this disable the SDI/HDI output on the camera.
- Shoot/play in a HDV compatible mode (1440x1080 raster), you can either stream HDV or DVCam out of the firewire port. - Shoot/play in DVCam mode, you can stream DVCam our of the firewire port - You can input a HDV signal through the firewire port and record wiht the EX1r when it is set to record HDV (HD SP). - You can input a DVCam signal through the firewire port of the EX1r. This can only use for monitoring purpose. The incoming DVCam video signal will be displayed on the camera LCD monitor but cannot be recorded. Thierry.
