EX1(R) SxS and Memory Stick Adapter Question
Does anyone know if the SxS slots must contain matched memory in operation?
For example, can it hold a mixed set of 1-16Gb and 1-32GB SxS cards? or must they match in size? Or, more specific to my question, can it hold one SxS card (32GB) and one Memory Stick Adapter with <any amount> of memory? |

You can mix any combination of SxS, PHU-xx drive or SD, in my experience with an EX3 and current EX1 cameras with current FirmWare.
Only SxS cards work well with over cranking. And I would not over crank while cards are switching (spanning file over 2 cards when the first one fills up) if they are not both SxS cards. I am sure EX1R are the same and they can use the Sony SxS-1, less expensive SxS cards. And the Sony memory sticks with adapter as well. |
