I contacted them last week and the shipping was a much as the unit. Too bad it looks nice. My last one went was dropped in the water so I needed one quickly. Ordered a Vortex Media one today. |

That is the same unit as the Opteka unit from 47th street photo:

John I was told that is not the same unit. That the Amazon one was a cheap copy of the CVP. Have you used the Opteka unit?

I've got one of those, known as el-cheapo, my colleague has one the same, apart from the different sticker on the side, it's exactly the same.
It's a brilliant bit if kit, very sturdy. Cost me £18, i also put a manfrotto adaptor plate on it. Paul.
