viewfinder b/w possible at DVinfo.net

im so used to shooting with b/w vf, can the color be turned out on the ex1 for b/w?

Yes. Under menu item EVF - Mode - Choose B&W

You can turn it off, but you don't really gain anything by doing so. The resolution is still the same, which is terrible. I tried it with black and white myself and didn't care for it. The LCD screen is really far more useful than the viewfinder IMO.
