Ex-3 firmware 1.05_0094

Yesterday I called sony Teaneck NJ, to drop my ex3 off for a firmware upgrade... after getting the 12 day wait time speech, I spoke with a gentlemen who arranged for me to drop it off this morning and pick it up this afternoon.

Everything went as promised and I picked up the camera at 2 pm. Upon returning home i checked out the focus issues i was having and all seems to be good to go.

Anyhow.. the reason I am even posting this is because the firmware update I got is...
1.05_0094. I have no idea what's changed from the previous versions... if anyone does feel free to chime in.

The service was excellent and I was covered under warranty.

Oh yeah, the million dollar question... MxR, SDHC seems unaffected!

How do you find out what firmware version is installed?

found it. while the camera is set to camera. hold/press down on the Menu, Scroll Wheel, and Cancel buttons at the same time. then scroll down to IF and it'll display your firmware.

Thanks Michael, I had tried looking for it. There was no mention of it in the Manual. The technique reveals a couple of other menu topics I did not know about either.

My EX3 got back from Sony Teaneck NJ. I had a lens problem. They replaced the lens and updated the firmware.
Every thing went smooth; good service there. My firmware was 1.02... and is now 1.04_0089. Date of service was the end of August.
Don't know what the differce is. Perhaps Sony will explain someday??!!
