New filter against IR contamination at DVinfo.net

Is there any news regarding the new Tiffen filter against IR contamination? A few months ago I heard that they were developing a new one specifically for CMOS cameras but haven't heard anything lately.

Is the B+W 486 IR Cut the best option for now?

I recently heard from Tiffen that it was supposed to be released very very soon - within a few weeks. Hope that's true. So far the 486 and 680 is the only game in town .

Hi I use the 486 filter all day every day and have never taken it off.
