Span Across Multiple SxS?

I can get the 8GB SxS cards for a much better price-per-GB than the 16GB cards but I will need to record at least 30-40 minutes straight sometimes.

So, my question is: how many SxS cards can a single video be spanned across and has anyone encountered ANY problems with spanned videos on SxS?

Thanks

I don't know that there is a limit to how many cards a single clip can span, but if there is one, it's probably some nifty power-of-two number like 256 or 65536 - if that doesn't make sense, find the nearest software engineer or 14 year old and they'll explain it.

One of my corporate clients occasionally asks me to record marathon meetings for them. I think the longest single clip I've done to date spanned two 16GB and three or four 8GB cards.

Never had an issue with genuine SxS cards.
