Batch editing clip metadata in Clip Browser
Does anyone know if the Sony Clip Browser can batch edit the metadata on multiple clips? For example, setting 'Title 1' to the same text string.
If not, is there any software that will do this? Thanks SG |

So I'm guessing this can't be done.
How about this Clip Browser question then: Can you either a) display clip timecode starts in detail view and/or b) go directly to a specific timecode point in a folder full of clips? For example, a producer on a shoot may be writing down timecode notes. When they are reviewing the video with the Clip Browser, a way of going directly to those time-code points would be helpful. Unless I am missing something, it appears to be somewhat of a "hunt & peck" type process trying to find these points. |

I have had the same thing come up where I needed to find a specific timecode, and although Clip Browser doesn't make it easy, XDCAM Transfer lets me select multiple BPAV folders and when the clip list is in table mode, one of the table columns is each clip's starting TC and it's sortable.
Easy squeezie.
