Stolen Sony EX1
Hi, I just wanted to alert everyone that my Sony EX1 serial number 0103197, has been stolen. If anyone tries to rent or sell you the camera please notify me, thanks.

Ebay and Craiglist posters probably won't list the serial number for obvious reasons so the area it was stolen in would help.

Does anyone anywhere operate a stolen serial number list - would be a good service. I guess it wouldn't stop a thief from removing the sn sticker though and selling to the un-initiated. Do sony cameras have an internal sn as well?

On the EX1 the serial number is shown in the maintenance menu. It is also embedded in the metadata of every clip the camera records.
