Century Optics 86MM +2.6 ACHROMATIC DIOPTER
Anyone try one of these with an EX1? Any sample footage or pics? Opinions? Compared to built in Macro?

I can't say regarding the Ex1, but I have used century achromatic diopters on Z1's and XHA1's and they are fantastic. They kick the arse out of single element ones, you can also stack them to get ultra tight. I would imagine the 86mm ones are just as good.

Hi Jason,
Another possible lens is made by Canon in a 77 mm mount and is designated the Canon 77 mm Close up lens 500D. The strength is 2 diopter and it also has more than one element. I cannot comment on the optical quality of either the Canon or the Schneider. |

Century Optics 86MM +2.6 ACHROMATIC DIOPTER.
Is this an zoom extender or not? Does it work on the Ex3 just by using a stepper ring? |
