Got a link?

I assume it's a new specific card for camcorders, but in EX's it's unlikely to improve the current (very useable) situation which is only restricted by the USB interface of the MxR cards. In other words faster SDHC cards won't make any difference.

I use 8x Transcend Class6 16GB SDHC cards. No problems - ever. Currently filming a treasure diving documentary in North Wales : Bonnie Prince Charlie's Wreck

I bought most of my cards from here: 16GB SAMSUNG FLASH MEMORY SDHC SD-HC HIGH CAPACITY CARD on eBay (end time 02-Jun-09 16:19:20 BST)

Cheapest price anywhere. £24.94 each total.

And the Transcend website reported the card's serial numbers as legitimate.

The OP probably means these: Amazon.com: Transcend TS16GSDHC6V 16 GB SDHC HD Video Card: Electronics

Perhaps the manufacturing process is more rigorous, then on normal 16GB class 6?

I think it is more likely that marketing thought HD would bring a little something to the product. I have use Transcend 16gb class 6 since Feb with MxR adapters without any trouble.

Nice site Duncan and a great story. Footage looks great.

Thanks for the link also I just ordered 4. A bit more expensive but p&p was free.

It would be interesting to know if transcend is adding a layer of QC testing to this card over an above the already good sdhc cards they make. That might be worth a few more bucks
