Underwater Housing For EX-3
Just heard that Amphibico have confirmed that they are making an underwater housing for the EX-3. It should be available around July time for around $12K for use with the standard lens however extensions etc to fit additional ports will come later.

As another update for the EX-1 R, Gates housings for the EX-1 will not work with the Ex-1 R however they are designing another housing which will.

Do you have the Gates housing for the EX1? And if so how do you find it to work with?

I don't but I have used it, I have the Canon A1 with a Gates housing and I love them. They are extremely rugged, easy to maintain and the Fathom optics are really good. They aren't cheap but that's underwater equipment for you.
