Is the Audio over SDI 16bit or 24bit?
Did some searching and could not find this mentioned.
Since the Flash XDR can record 24 bit, I was wondering if an EX signal was fed into the XDR, what flavor of audio would come out of the SDI port? |

The internal audio on the EX is 16bit, out of SDI is 24bit.

Hey thanks.
Stands to reason since the SDI port is uncompressed output, the audio should have more bits. |

So, is the audio coming out of the SDI port true 24-bit, or padded/up-rezzed 16-bit?
I guess what I'm asking is if I run my mic into the EX1, I'm assuming it's processed as 16-bit or does it bypass something when it goes out the SDI port?
