New EX1 with v11 firmware, how to test?
Hi all. I bought an EX1 recently and want to test for the subtle but only-sony-fixable kinds of issues that I might have missed simply running through all the normal functions/modes of the camera. Stuff like the old backfocus and excessive vignette issues.
What I'm looking for are a list of likely things to test for and instructions on how to do the tests. I don't have access to professional charts other than the free printable ones. I do have a calibrated Panasonic plasma monitor (not the broadcast kind, the tunerless TV). --Shayne |

v 1.11 test
Do a search on back focus and vignette in this forum and check out symptoms. For more recent features check all items in Adam Wilt's review of the firmware upgrade:
