EX1 & Pilot / SDI to BNC ?
Hi Guys.. trying to connect an EX1 to a Steadicam Pilot's monitor.. not getting any signal.. camera menu settings are as follows:
i.LINK Disabled YPbPR/SDI Out: SD YPbPR/SDI Out: ON Is a BNC the wrong conection type? |

You need to use the composite output which is a special connector under the flap on the side of the camera. The camera should have been supplied with the correct cable.

The pilot comes with the correct cable to connect the composite signal as allister suggested. you should have no problem seeing the picture on the pilot monitor... but if you want all ex1 monitor data on the pilot monitor... you'll have to play with the internal settings or take sdi out, i think.

Watch your cable length once you get your settings resolved so it doesn't throw off the balance of your rig.
