EX-1 and On Camera SD Monitor...Please Help
Ok So I have an EX-1 and I just got an external monitor from a stabilizer which I purchased from varizoom...for some reason the monitor doesn't work...it says "no signal"..this is what I did
1. From EX1 I took a BNC cable out of the "SDI-Out" Port 2. The other end of the cable was hooked up directly into the Video In 3. Turned On The Monitor and The Camera 4. From the camera's Menu, I did the following: a. Went To the "Video Set" option in the Menu b. Turned "On" the "video out display" & set the "YPbPr/SDI Out" to HD This didn't work so I set the "YPbPr/SDI Out" to SD... Still no luck...what am I missing over? |

you need the composite cable not the SDI cable - SDI is a digital signal for studio type working

Thank you for your assistance...It eventually clicked that the manual may have something so I figured it out that the A/V out component hidden under the grip might do the job.....not a very convenient location
