Best render format for roundtrip Final Cut and Photoshop
Hi All,
I have to make a few corrections in a Final Cut HD project (1080x1920 25p) shot on the Sony EX1. I am coloring it in Color at the moment and next need to fix a few red spots (camera pilot light) reflecting in glass. I want to import the clips to Photoshop from Final Cut, fix the spots and render out back to Final Cut. I am (generally) using Apple Prores 422 HQ, but I am now wondering if this is the best format to work in with Photoshop. Could it be better to render out of Color in 8 or 10 bit Raw and import in that format into Photoshop and back to FCP? In other words, what's the best render format into and out of Photoshop to roundtrip back to Final Cut? Thx for your advice! Heinrich Dahms Heinrich Dahms BUZZMEDIA NETWORK |
