short term UK camera insurance?
Do you guys know if there such thing as a short term insurance policy I could get for an ex1?
I'm looking at about 2 weeks. I was considering letting a friend borrow my (still uninsured) EX1 but would like to get it covered first. He's making a short film... So can I get a policy that will cover a third party for accidental damage and theft? Just for a few weeks at a time? Any idea what I should be expecting to pay or a decent company to go with? I'm clueless with this stuff... Hope you can help. Cheers. |

Why not get him to buy the insurance?

Camera insurance for photographers and photographic equipment
I doubt you'll get a short term policy, but put it the value of your gear (video/photo or both) and you get an instant quote. Quite cheap really... Duncan

I second the Aaduki suggestion. Have been with them for years and they've always been helpful, informative and patient with me when I've had to do convoluted things.
I think they've done short term insurance for me in the past when I've needed to cover hired in kit. |
