The 2.9 version is available now for download (at least from the US site)...
The release notes link related to download does not list changes in this version |

Hi there,
I shot yesterday with my EX-1, and am editing this time in FCP. I know I need the XDCAM Transfer software to import, but I'm a little confused. The link to the download site (for the most recent version, 2.9), provided on Sony's XDCAM software page, doesn't work ("The page cannot be displayed", etc.). Does anyone know how I can get it? thanks, Malcolm |

thanks Ned... I don't know how I got mixed up; too many numbers, perhaps.
One more quick question: Once I get this Transfer Tool, can I keep it in any folder I want in my Applications folder (I'd like to keep it in a folder named 'Sony EX-1' if I can)? Cheers, Malcolm |

I would keep it in Applications since that's where installer puts it. I don't like to mess around much with installer-selected locations.
