TIme Code from the Sony EX3 at DVinfo.net

I was wondering if there is a way to send Free Run TC from the firewire port on the Sony EX3. I was wanting to lock it with a Sony Z7.

switch cam to SP 1080 50i, activate FiWi Port and feed z7 with firewire.

"HDV OUTPUT" is only possible in SP (=1440 / 25mbit) mode.

After syncing TC you´ll have to switch back to 35mbit/s (HQ modes)

I can't seem to display the free run timecode on my VF display on the Sony EX3.I can get Rec timecode to show once I hit record. But I was hoping to see the free run so I can see if my cameras are locked.
