More Power!
I am looking to upgrade my video capture and edit system. Seriously considering this one:
Super Micro Computer, Inc. - Products | Motherboards | Xeon Boards | X7DWA-N Two 3GHz quad processors and a 6 drive raid 0, about 64 gig ram. SDI in is still up in the air, any suggestions? |

When I was a PC, and building my own machines, I was a big fan of the Super Micro motherboards. That said... and this is just a guesstimate... but building this out you're easily spending $10-12,000.
Why not build out a strong Mac Pro and be able to run FCP and/or Windows and your fav PC editor. AND have a 3yr warranty.

sure will.
Mind you, you won't be able to do your 64 gb ram, but you can do 32. But don't buy your ram from AAPL... they are stupid expensive. OWC is priced at a fraction.
