Quickly changing the recording formats!
I need only three HQ recording modes with EX1:
1. HQ 1080p24 or sometimes p30 and for slo-mo: 2. HQ 720p24 (upped to p60 by S&Q menu) Now, on location, I recently managed to make a mistake while switching the modes, and landed in SP 1080p instead - which of course produced 1440x1080 interlaced HDV compatible file. Not good. So... anticipating this human error again... is there a way to lock out unwanted modes? Or, is there a way to maybe assign a button so if I use it, it only goes to the specific pre-set mode? |

Alex, do you have your view finder set so you can "see" what your recording is while shooting?

Alex, you have just found the quickest way to remember the settings, once discovered you will never make the mistake again. Life can be tough, but we all make one mistake or another at some time.
