Formatting SDHC - MxR to the rescue
Spent today tidying up my SDHC 16gb Transcend and Ultra III 8gb (this was bought back in the early days of the revolution) cards. I found that with the SDHC system some SDHC cards Transcend and Utra IIIs would only format to 79% and then crash the EX1 (tried 2 cameras).
When I put the SDHC cards into an MxR adapter the cards formatted and record perfectly. Any Ideas why the Kensington should behave that way btw I tried a number of Kensington adaptors? |

Did you mean the older Extreme III?
I was not aware there was ever an Ultra III. I have not tried the older Extreme III only the new Extreme III 30MB/s version. The old cards I trust are the Ultra II 15MB/s (class 4) and the new Extreme III 30MB/s. I've had no issues with these cards. |

Sorry Steve, I meant to say EXtreme III. I bought it back in the early days before it became known that there was no advantage over the Ultra II.
