S-2000 light and EX1 question
i just ordered the s-2000 light and as i was surfing around im seeing that there is a D-tap battery also. So is this necessary to have the battery in order to get use from the s-2000? or can this light just be used with the supplied sony batteries that i already own? I have both sony batteries the one supplied and the extended and also an anton bauer dionic for use when im using the pilot or with the adapter that mounts under the ex1. hope one of these options works dont want to buy ANOTHER battery

The s-2000 light you just ordered comes with a D-Tap plug. So any DC power source with the matching D-Tap and ability to deliver about 1A will work. The Sony BP-U60 battery does not have one, while the SWIT S-8U62 comes with the D-Tap. Most probably your AB plate also has one, just look on the thin side.
