EX1 Video w/Color
I searched the forum and was unable to find a thread about this but I have read about others using FC Studio's Color to grade their EX1 video.
Upon importing a sequence (XDCam EX 1080i60 35Mbps vbr), I see all clips locked out with a Red X and no thumbnail image. Also, Color user manual on page 85 lists it as an unsupported original format. No mention in subsequent pages of how to conform it for use in Color. I tried rendering an XDcam sequence in Apple Pro Res, no luck. I would love to know how this is being accomplished by others? |

Really? ProRes should work fine. Are you sending the sequence to Color from FCP directly?

version?
have you upgraded to Color 1.0.4? I believe this issue (clips showing as offline) popped up for a short time in version 1.0.3.

Just got 1.0.4 with software update. That cured it. Thanks.
Seemed like it was a major update, to OS as well. There was a very long install requiring restart. |
