thnx!fun place indeed!I'm quiet pleased about ex1 lowlight performance..of course rolling shutter is an issue little bit when strobe lights comes in play. And somehow my h264 compression seems little darker than original footage or master cineform avi.

Wow, footage looks great. Very clean! Did you use gain?
Great to see the EX1 holding up so good at low-light sequences. |

Raul.
I noticed on the vimeo clip, on your comments you say that you've lowered black gamma to -10, why and what effect did it have ? Was it to keep the noise out of the blacks ? ps, i also use the swit light, i'm very pleased with it. Thanks. Paul.

Hi Paul!Swit kit was also reccomendation by You and after that i ordered ;)Indeed great combo.Yes I'm trying little different settings for lowlight scene. As i switced to STD 4 Gamma then i tryed little with black gamma too.I found that STD4 Gamma works enough well with Canon A1 too.Little A1 tweaking (seems redish for me) and ready to go.
I used max 6 db gain with this shoot, but ...used neatvideo noise reduction..little overdose about that but also great product...worth to try. Best Regards Raul |

Really nice job. Great composition, quality, etc. Made one want to go to that club which is what I assume the video was intended for. Thanks for not overdoing the overcranking like so many others here do and sticking to the video's intended purpose. The results were worth it.
Regards, John |
