No need. I have a very long nose. It's been calibrated to 25". ;) It can also sniff out a slow USB connection device and this, my friend, is a slow device!

SXS card reader

This unit seems quiet expensive to me.How is the idea to look for some mini note with express card slot?As they a cheaper and cheaper right now.Lenovo mini note for example..little more as this usb reader and u can use it on field as sxs backup unit and at your studio use it as express card reader.(connect external harddrive to the lappy)of course then u have the same usb speed.

I would definitely but a smaller laptop with express card slot over some over priced bauble. At least with the laptop you can multi-task... And it sounds (er smells) like the reader is slooow.

So, then it's 50" from the rest of your face?
