the indiefocuspro worked flawlessly...... I used the friction wheel. I did order a lens gear from them but it's pitch does not match the supplied drive gear that shipped with the ifp.

IFP's website is pretty.... but is very lacking on info. and.... they don't ship for about a week after you buy something online. I get the feeling it's a guy in a garage that only checks his paypal account every once in a while.

the indislider worked flawlessly other than the cheap velbron head that cmae with it is utter crap. I need to get a stud adaptor for my 501 head to put it on there.

When I bought these IFP products.... I was looking for a bargain. they do work. but their no zucato.

I really liked the filming, doesn't look like music video though, more like a short, but may be that's why I liked it; low light is just great, very nice looking project!

hey chris,

is there any chance you could tell us what your color settings were,

They have a very nice look about them.

I keep the ex1 bone stock regarding color settings.... no pp's at all.

manual focus ( obviously to use with the letus extreme ) manual iris fairly wide open, manual white balance ( locked at 5600 ), -3 gain, 0 ND, 180' shutter.

EF lens' were wide open.... used a 35mm f1.4, 100 f2.8, 17-40 f4 ( for over the bed )

all the color tweaks were done in FCP with 3 way and I used MBL's for basic film look and black mist at the bar and the night shots at the house.

Looks like they want me to shoot some footage of the band and cut them in there in a few spots. I'll post revisions as they're ready.

I thought the cuts were too slow for the song, and the diffused glow added some cheese. Good besides that.

Hey steve.... I took a look at some of your stuff.... you call my stuff cheesy?

regarding " In The Morning".... it's not done yet.... still have to cut the band in there.

I'm on the fence regarding the black mist..... might leave it to convey the drunk-ed-ness.
notice the morning shots are not with black mist?

I'll post revisions when done. And in the future will not post anything.

I really enjoyed it, maybe a bit too literal with the lyrics but it sounds like you sorted that already. The quality is top notch.
