If anyone is after one of these in the UK for a Canon controller check out my post in the classifieds:

One comment - the wiring diagram provided is rather confusing - The internals of the Libecs, Fujinons and Canon zoom demands are all rather simple. No digital clever stuff, just a wheatstone bridge style circuit - so where do all the serial data and video lines go? The connection diagram supplied doesn't help making up a analogue, voltage dependent remote, as far as I can see?

I did eventually get a Joni adapter cable and it works as advertised...just as it should. Nice smooth/gradual zooms, record, start/stop and review...all work!
Though I'd better post seeing i started this thread and now have one! Evan |
