Green Flicker on Expanded Focus
Just wanted to check if this was normal for an EX3? When I press Expanded Focus I get a green flicker as the expanded focus zooms in and then when it returns to normal. Once zoomed in it is fine and when it returns it is fine, but just when I press the button I get a flicker. The green flicker is similiar to when you change shooting mode.

Since I had the firmware upgraded to 1.11 I now get that green flicker when pressing the expand focus button, and find it rather annoying. This never occured with the original firmware (version 1.5), there, if you pressed the expand focus button, expanded focus happened, with no green, no flicker, just immediate image enlargement.

You mean version 1.05. I had the flicker on 1.05. The hope was it would go away with 1.11.
It did not.............no big deal. |

Does it on my EX-3 as well.
It's not a bug; it's a feature. |

In fact the Genesis, F23, and any other camera with the same viewfinder do this as well, and some more than others.
