Transfers from EX3 vs. Card Reader
Excuse my ignorance, but is transferring files from a SxS card faster using a card reader as opposed to directly from the camera?
Thanks! |

Jay,
I don't have a card reader but I believe a USB interface 'crippled' device will be way slower than direct transfer by taking the SxS cards out of my EX3 and putting them in my Mac Book Pro...which is an impressively fast way to transfer I can tell you.

Buy the Sony SxS reader. It's a lot faster.

Laptop with Express card slot is fastest. Sony reader is USB (and what most use for desktop) as it's a bit more flexible than tying up your camera (which would also use USB).

Yes, but it's faster than using the USB out of the EX1 to your PC.
