My downconversion to SD is through a Blackmagic Decklink Extreme card. It's in real-time.
The interlaced material is for the cable outlet's HD channel. It's 1080i.
If your graphics and titles are aliasing, then check the "properties" within the sequence and see if field order is set properly. For progressive it should be set to "none". For some reason the titler in FCP and Livetype will often set it to "upper" or "lower".
